During these health and healing days, we will reflect on who we are as human persons. During the morning lectures, we will discuss biological, philosophical, and spiritual approaches to getting to know ourselves better. It will then become clear how intimate self-knowledge and acceptance can also become a path of healing, as well as being important to an integral education. In the following overview lecture, the content of these days is explained in more detail.

Themes per day
Monday
Going 'in' and its challenges
The role of recent scientific developments in overcoming scientific reductionism, especially genetic determinism. What does this mean for the agency we have over our own lives? What role does the 'self' play?
Tuesday
On "in acceptation being"
If genes do not determine us, who are we then? Leonardo Polo's synthesis of modern, classical and Christian philosophical anthropology. How could we combine these views? What are obstacles in practice?
Wednesday
In practice
The method and charism of La Vie as a way to reach integration and healing in practice.
Thursday
The road ahead
Day to reflect on our personal progress, and what the learning this week has first meant for you personally, and what road it opens up towards the future. From there, we will also reflect about the future of this initiative together for (catholic) education, and see how we can help others with what we have learned.
Friday
Wrap-up and departure.
